Item Details
A 4/4 size vintage Stradivarius copy violin with a Glasser fiberglass bow and a hard shell case. The violin is of ply or laminate wood construction and fittings, model V130 and serial number Q1899. The instrument has two interior labels; to the bass side is a label that reads “Copy of Antonius Stradivarius faciebat Cremona 1713, made in Romania” in printed ink, with a hand written pencil “1989” beneath the text. To the treble side, a label bearing the maker Glasel reads “Glasel Shop Adjusted, Cleveland, Ohio, This instrument was constructed and shop adjusted to

specifications” and lists the model and serial number information.

Condition
- body of the violin is in Good condition, bearing some scratching to the lower bout at the right side of the face, and dinging to edges throughout consistent with age and use. Strings and bridge will need replacing, finger tapes to fingerboard. Two chin rests are included but will need some assembly. Bow does not have bow hair and has dinging and scratching to coated finish.
