Availability: 64 in stock
  • Country/Region of Manufacture: Germany
  • Size: 3/4 or 7/8
  • Model: case
  • Brand: A Schroetter
  • Condition: Comes with everything shown in condition shown. Hand signed J. A. Baader" on the paper inside the body, and preprint dated "19" followed by what looks like a handwritten old German style "14" or a "12", with the "1" looking nearly like a "7" with the top bar slanted downwards and longer. It needs new string of course, and has some wear but nothing is cracked or broken. I measured the body length from purfling to purfling according to wikihow, and it measures exactly 13 1/4 inches, and it says a 3/4 is 13" and a 7/8 is 13 1/2", so I don't know which it is. Includes a bow in good condition minus the string, a case that locks but has wear as shown (it's over 100 years old so go figure!), plus some hardened rosin and that wooden piece that raises the strings.
